EARLY YEARS MUSIC CARDS (Parents, Nursery and Pre-school) Print E-mail

New - a set of 6 free-standing files which support learning in early years' settings including the home, pre-school and nursery. Files stand in pyramid style - for display and ease of use. Each file has approx. 20 activities with supporting educational rationale.

The activities support individual and small-group work to encourage one-to-one (adult -child) development of childrens' musical knowledge and skills. Most activities are easily adapted for larger groups. In this way the materials encourage day to day music activity and the skills of early years' practitioners.

They were developed by an experienced advisory teacher to encourage work between settings, parents and children and also ways to develop music areas in early years' settings.

They offer an excellent precursor to the Leicestreshire Red and Blue Materials Files.
